Renovated in 2023, the Cottage is a wonderful getaway to relax and explore. Three comfortable bedrooms and a shared family bathroom adjoin a spacious living room, perfect for unwinding with a book in front of the wood burner. The garden is enclosed for children and dogs, with a garden table and bench, offering great views into open woodland. Watch out for the red squirrels and deer roaming freely as you sit and enjoy a morning coffee!
Persie is situated a mere 11 miles from the majestic Cairngorms National Park, this delightful country cottage offers a remarkable gateway to a world of outdoor adventures and breathtaking scenery. The backdrop of the Cairngorms offers an array of exhilarating activities, including hiking, climbing, fishing, and skiing. Nature enthusiasts will find themselves immersed in the captivating beauty of the rugged peaks, expansive forests, and lochs. Nearby amenities are at Bridge of Cally (2.5 miles) and a wider range of facilities in Blairgowrie (9 miles).

The resident estate managers, Stephen & Carol, live very nearby and available throughout your stay.
How is the WiFi / internet?
Despite being in a remote location, the Cottage has excellent satellite internet connection for home working and streaming from multiple devices. Typical broadband speed of 50-70 Mbps.
What are check in/out times?
We ask that guests arrive no earlier than 4pm. Should you need to arrive earlier, please let us know in advance and we will try our best to accommodate. We request you check out by 10am.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome to stay in the boot room or purpose built hut in the enclosed garden. Sorry no dogs in the living areas of the Cottage. When outside, please be aware that Persie is a working farm - there are sheep & cattle on the hill so dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

What amenities are there in the Cottage?
All necessary cooking equipment with dishwasher and microwave. Kitchen table seating 6 adults, WiFi, central heating, wood burner, Smart TV. All towels provided

Salmon and trout fishing, clay pigeon shooting and stalking all by arrangement. Access to tennis court.

Safety
The lodge is fitted with fire, smoke and heat detectors, as well as CO detectors. There are fire extinguishers throughout the house, please familiarise yourself with their location and use as well as exit routes.
